Job summary

Saalex is seeking a Reliability Engineer to provide reliability engineering support in Ridgecrest, CA, onsite. The role administers FRACAS, reviews trouble/failure reports, and leads root cause analysis to drive effective corrective actions in line with program requirements.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 7 years of related experience, with active Secret clearance eligibility per contract. Competitive benefits and a strong reliability focus are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven FRACAS experience supporting reliability improvement in production/test or field environments.
• Strong RCA and corrective action verification skills.
• Experience translating findings into actionable actions.

Responsibilities

• Administer FRACAS process across projects.
• Review, evaluate, and close trouble/failure reports.
• Lead investigations and structured RCA.
• Develop and track corrective actions through closure.
• Verify effectiveness of implemented actions.
• Perform statistical/trend analysis using reliability data.
• Maintain reliability/quality documentation.
• Prepare RCA reports with evidence and action plans.
• Coordinate with engineering and related groups on reliability activities.
• Assume additional duties to support program reliability.
