Job summary

RTX’s Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) team in McKinney, TX is seeking a qualified engineer to support FRACAS, BIT, and reliability-related requirements for production and sustainment. This onsite role involves collaborating with hardware/software design teams to resolve non-conformances and define failure modes.

This position requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years of FRACAS experience, with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM).
Minimum 2 years of relevant FRACAS experience for product production or sustainment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Support the program in the FRACAS process for production or sustainment.
Support development of BIT, reliability/maintainability/testability requirements.
Help define failure modes and their effects on systems.
Collaborate with hardware/software design teams to resolve non-conformances.
