Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Reliability Engineer for our manufacturing plant to enhance equipment uptime and reduce unplanned downtime. You will lead RCAs, develop PM/PdM programs, and partner across Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and Quality to cut total cost of ownership.

Responsibilities include using CMMS tools, tracking KPIs like MTBF/MTTR, and implementing CBM techniques such as vibration and thermography. Strong data skills and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field required.
• Reliability or Maintenance certification (CMRP, CRE, CRL) preferred.
• 3–7 years of engineering, maintenance, or reliability experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment failures and recurrent defects to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain life-cycle plans to maximize uptime and reduce costs.
• Build and optimize PM/PdM programs for critical assets.
• Lead RCA using 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA and Pareto analyses.
• Monitor KPIs like MTBF/MTTR and implement CBM tools (vibration, thermal, ultrasonic, oil analysis).
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering to improve reliability and safety.
