Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Byron Center, MI is seeking a Reliability Engineer to improve asset uptime across manufacturing operations. You will lead RCA sessions, develop reliability strategies, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs with a data-driven approach.

Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to drive continuous improvement, analyze equipment performance trends, and implement solutions that reduce lifecycle costs while enhancing overall reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or similar).
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on reliability engineering principles.
Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis methodologies (FMEA, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
Experience with CMMS and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement solutions to improve asset reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement reliability strategies to improve equipment uptime.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and recurring issues.
Lead FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) sessions to identify potential failure modes.
Optimize preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) programs.
