Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a Reliability Engineer to improve the reliability, availability, and performance of mill assets across the US, Canada, and Mexico. You will apply reliability engineering, predictive maintenance, and data-driven initiatives to reduce lifecycle costs and maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-5 years of reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing a CMMS, preferably IBM Maximo.
• Strong understanding of reliability principles and asset management best practices.
• Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and equipment failure investigations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability, availability, and performance of mill assets using reliability engineering principles, predictive maintenance technologies, and data-driven improvement initiatives.
• Lead reliability programs and utilize IBM Maximo to analyze equipment history, maintenance effectiveness, asset health, and failure trends.
• Drive continuous improvement to maximize production uptime, reduce maintenance costs, and support asset management objectives.
• Review and develop reliability strategies for critical rotating and stationary equipment.
• Develop predictive and condition-based maintenance strategies for critical assets.
• Conduct FMEA and RCMS studies and develop corrective actions.
• Oversee PdM programs including vibration analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound, motor current analysis, oil analysis, and motion amplification.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track reliability performance and maintenance effectiveness.
