Job summary

Greif is seeking an experienced Division Reliability Engineer to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance across our Sustainable Fiber Solutions mill network in the United States. You will assess equipment, develop improvement plans, and partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams across six mills to reduce downtime.

The role requires travel to supported mill locations, expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 12+ years of relevant engineering or reliability experience preferred.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support reliability improvement plans across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Analyze downtime, maintenance, and equipment data to identify recurring failures and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with site teams to troubleshoot chronic equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and outage planning.
• Develop reliability KPIs, reports, and dashboards to track performance.
• Support CMMS/EAM systems and maintenance processes, including data quality.
• Lead reliability assessments and Root Cause Problem Solving activities.
• Provide hands-on reliability support at mill locations when needed.
• Develop and share reliability standards, tools, training across the mill network.
