Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client, a leader in industrial manufacturing, is seeking a Reliability Engineer in Mobile, Alabama to join the Reliability Department. This role focuses on identifying and resolving long-term asset issues, leading root cause analyses, and supporting projects to maximize reliability and operability.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering, at least five years in a similar role, and hands-on experience with large-scale equipment such as compressors and pumps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in maintenance or reliability engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, chillers, and piping systems.
  • Ability to interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and machinery drawings confidently.
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with reliability and operations teams to identify and resolve long-term asset issues and reliability threats.
  • Analyze data from various sources to recommend and justify life-cycle cost and reliability improvements.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis for major failures to prevent recurrence.
  • Support engineering, design, specification, and execution of projects to maximize reliability and operability.
  • Review and update Standard Maintenance and Operating procedures.
