Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced Reliability Engineer in Westlake, LA to develop and optimize asset strategies, perform RCFA, and drive reliability improvements across petrochemical facilities.

You will work with the client’s reliability team to prioritize outages and improve asset availability. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in reliability engineering, a mechanical engineering degree, and a PE registration is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• This position requires 10+ years of reliability engineering experience in industrial settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; metallurgy-related coursework is a plus.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services with team and client representatives on projects.
• Lead RCFA teams using Apollo RCFA method when appropriate.
• Analyze mechanical failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead reliability-focused FMEA/RCM teams as needed.
• Maintain ongoing education in vibration, thermography, and lubrication to improve practices.
• Develop work-sharing packages for interoffice execution and leadership communication.
