Job summary

FPC of Savannah in the New Orleans area seeks an experienced Reliability Engineer to support mechanical reliability, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement across a busy manufacturing site.

You will lead RCAs, develop corrective actions, analyze data to identify trends, and support asset reliability strategies while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field with 5+ years in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Experience with reliability engineering, preventive maintenance, failure analysis, and asset management.
• API 510, 570, or 653 certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.

• Manage and improve the plant's Preventive Maintenance (PM) and mechanical reliability programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Lead RCAs and develop corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
• Analyze reliability and equipment data to identify trends, improve performance, and support asset reliability strategies.
• Develop engineering solutions for recurring equipment and operational issues impacting safety, quality, cost, and production.
• Support PSM compliance, equipment specifications, repair procedures, and maintenance training involving piping, valves, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, and related equipment.
