Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a Reliability Engineer to improve the reliability, availability, and performance of mill assets across a paper mill. The role partners with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and Engineering to identify failures, optimize maintenance strategies, and reduce lifecycle costs.

You will lead reliability programs, analyze equipment history, and drive continuous improvement to maximize uptime and asset effectiveness, including predictive maintenance and data analytics.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment utilizing a CMMS, preferably IBM Maximo.
• Strong understanding of reliability principles and asset management best practices.
• Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and equipment failure investigations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability, availability, and performance of mill assets through reliability engineering, predictive maintenance, and data-driven improvement initiatives.
• Lead reliability improvement initiatives across the paper mill and identify chronic failures via data analysis and root cause investigations.
• Develop and implement reliability strategies to improve asset availability and performance; establish reliability standards for critical equipment.
• Support mill-wide asset management, lifecycle planning, and maintenance strategy optimization (PM programs and intervals).
• Oversee predictive maintenance programs (vibration, infrared, ultrasound, motor current, oil analysis, motion analysis).
• Develop dashboards and reports to track reliability performance and maintenance effectiveness; enable data-driven decision making; participate in RCFA investigations.
