Job summary

Syner-G is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support reliability, maintenance, and asset management in regulated pharmaceutical environments. You will work with Facilities, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, and Quality to improve equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and readiness for new assets.

The role requires a background in engineering, 1+ year of relevant experience, CMMS familiarity, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• 1 year minimum engineering experience; life sciences setting preferred.
• Experience with CMMS and preventive maintenance programs.
• Familiarity with GMP requirements in regulated environments.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support reliability activities for facility, utility, process, and manufacturing equipment.
• Develop, implement, and improve PM programs and asset maintenance strategies.
• Perform criticality assessments to prioritize maintenance and reliability work.
• Lead or support RCA, failure investigations, and failure mode assessments.
• Analyze performance, downtime, and maintenance data to identify trends.
• Develop, maintain, and report reliability KPIs to track performance.
• Assist spare parts assessments and inventory risk mitigation.
• Recommend life-extension strategies for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Use CMMS to review history, work orders, and asset data.
• Support operational readiness for new or modified equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve availability and maintainability.
• Apply GEP and best practices to engineering activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Facilities, Quality.
• Prepare reports and recommendations on reliability performance.
