Job summary

Hankook Tire is seeking a Mechanical Utility Engineer II to uphold a proactive maintenance program and 100% uptime in tire manufacturing. You will manage mechanical utilities, mentor technicians, and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, and reliability targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 2+ years of industrial experience, and strong English communication skills, with a 8-5 Monday-Friday schedule and exempt/full-time status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/industrial engineering required.
• 2+ years of proven manufacturing engineering experience.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and quality standards in a 24/7 tire manufacturing environment.
• Monitor utility supply systems (air compressors, steam boilers, HVAC, piping) and improve reliability.
• Support maintenance with tool, parts, and procedure readiness; guide junior staff.
