Job summary

Hankook Tire is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer I to support equipment uptime and process improvements in a fast-paced tire manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with operations and maintenance to ensure efficient operation, develop clear SOPs, and drive waste reduction and profitability through method improvements.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning SAP record-keeping, cost estimates, and cross-functional teamwork

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial or related engineering required.
• Advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support uptime of equipment and safety in the workplace.
• Improve processes to reduce waste and increase profitability.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures for equipment and operators.
• Develop relationships with peers, technicians and suppliers for uptime objectives.
• Engage in 5S, maintenance planning and process improvements.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and effective change management.
