Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance experience.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, bearings, belts, drives, and lubrication.
• Ability to read simple schematics, manuals, and work instructions.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments safely.
• Basic computer literacy for CMMS and documentation purposes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems according to schedules.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions under supervision.
• Inspect machinery and report potential problems to prevent downtime.
• Assist with equipment installations, changeovers, and adjustments.
• Document maintenance activities accurately within the CMMS system.
• Maintain tools, parts, and work areas in clean and organized condition.
• Participate in safety and continuous improvement programs (5S, TPM).
• Comply with OSHA, NFPA, and company safety policies including lockout/tagout.
• Support facility and utility maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Perform other duties to support plant goals.
