Job summary

Westrock Coffee is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support continuous improvement across packaging lines and related equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize complex systems with a focus on reliability and uptime, coaching team members, and coordinating with engineering and operations.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and certifications such as CMT-2 IMI and Welding.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in Industrial Maintenance.
Experience with 3-phase motors, gearboxes, bearings, sensors, and chillers.
IMI CMT-2 certification within 6 months of placement.
Subject matter expert validated by management on in-house equipment.
Welding certification required.
Ability to read complex instructions, prints, diagrams, and schematics.
Ability to relay instructions to diverse personnel.
CMRT certification preferred.
Industrial Electrician certification preferred.
Food-grade facility maintenance experience is a plus.
Experience with Allen-Bradley VFDs training is a plus.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, plan, and perform installation, modification, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of complex equipment.
Support OEE, waste reduction, safety, and food safety initiatives with maintenance plans.
Implement preventive and reactive maintenance programs to reduce failures.
Lead reliability efforts for assigned equipment and drive improvements.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and justify improvements.
Train operations and process teams to keep equipment in Like New condition.
Operate with minimal supervision to resolve mechanical/electrical issues.
Provide preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production and building equipment.
Coordinate with colleagues, vendors, and management to plan maintenance activities.
Disseminate information through training and guidance to other technicians.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Obtain MEWPs and Forklift Class 1-7 certification.
