Job summary

Graze is seeking a Shift Reliability & Maintenance Engineer to support Hayes-based production lines. You will apply mechanical, electrical and process knowledge to solve problems, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and ensure safe, hygienic operations.

You will own actions from daily performance reviews, service and repair equipment, and oversee contractor activities for PPM while upholding Health & Safety, GMP and GDP standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering problem-solving, maintenance and breakdown coverage in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Formal Engineering qualifications or completed apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Experience in food or pharmaceutical environments and understanding of GMP.
• Multi-skilled with fault finding in mechanical, electrical and pneumatic circuits.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Able to work on own initiative and prioritise work.
• Experience with CMMS for planned maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical problem-solving support to operations to achieve factory KPIs.
• Own engineering actions from daily performance review meetings.
• Service, adjust and repair machinery and equipment safely.
• Examine machinery and report on condition, performance and plan of action.
• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance to schedules.
• Oversee contractor activities for PPM and reactive maintenance per Health & Safety and Permit to Work.
• Review and update maintenance procedures as needed.
• Maintain safety, quality standards including GMP and GDP.
