Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Senior Reliability Engineer for its Florida manufacturing site. You will lead RCA projects and drive reliability improvements across electrical/instrumentation systems, automation, and cybersecurity assets. Collaborate with IT and operations to optimize maintenance programs and SOPs.

Requires 12+ years in engineering and reliability in manufacturing, strong data analysis, and proven cross-functional teamwork. Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, or Networking engineering.
12+ years of experience in engineering, maintenance, reliability, automation, networking, and CyberSecurity in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Proven experience with preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
Experience leading RCA, FMEA, downtime analysis, or fishbone analyses.
Engineering/specification/design of electrical/instrumentation/automation/networking systems and assets.
Excellent communication, teamwork and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of regulatory and industrial standards for electrical/instrumentation/automation networks.
Experience with CMMS and reliability strategies (RCM, TPM, spare parts management).
Proficiency with SAP, AutoCAD, and PLC/HMI systems.

Responsibilities

Maintain safety as a top priority and ensure activities meet all requirements and SOPs.
Analyze data to justify life-cycle cost and reliability improvement actions.
Assist in engineering, design, specification, and technical support of electrical/instrumentation assets.
Assist or manage execution of projects for reliability improvement in coordination with IT.
Identify and resolve long-term electrical asset concerns.
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major failures and track corrective actions.
Monitor and optimize Predictive and Preventive Maintenance programs.
Review and update SMPs and SOPs.
Identify, pilot and implement new technologies for reliability improvement.
Drive high-impact issue resolution with urgency and integrity.
Utilize Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement of reliability.
Track and report on KPIs and key initiatives.
