Job summary

Ingham County is seeking a Part-Time Community Re-entry Assistant to support the release process with precise data entry, verification, and records management. • Experience in or with law enforcement or legal settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate data entry into multiple court, pre-trial, probation, and medical systems, updating contact information for individuals being released.
• Review and verify release packets prepared by Receiving Deputies for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate, update, and distribute release lists with correct data for daily releases.
• Enter and maintain records of release-related forms including bond paperwork, probation intakes, and pre-trial services documentation.
• Provide release information to community partners via system reports and data entry.
• Maintain electronic and paper filing systems for court forms, medical information, and release documents.
• Prepare written summaries of upcoming court dates, probation conditions, or supervised release restrictions for distribution.
• Update attorney of record and community partner databases with accurate contact and release information.
• Assist with compiling statistical reports on releases, reentry services, and program referrals.
• Provide clerical and data-entry support to jail operations and respond to information requests.
