Responsibilities

• Process basic release of information requests accurately and timely.
• Ensure only authorized individuals access patient information.
• Log requests in release tracking systems and scan/or attach authorizations.
• Review scanned documents for accuracy before release.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain the process to requestors.
