Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related discipline preferred.
• RHIT or RHIA preferred.
• One year of Release of Information experience required; EPIC or EMR experience preferred.
• Medical terminology course must be obtained within six months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service support and process correspondence and requests for patient information in accordance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
• Assist with training of new team members.
