Job summary

Qualifications

• HIPAA compliance knowledge and ability to interpret requests.
• Experience with evaluating release of information requests and ensuring accuracy.
• Strong customer service and written/spoken communication skills.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Receives, sorts, opens, and reviews all documented requests.
• Logs requests into the EHR Release of Information module within 72 hours of receipt.
• Responds to requests for medical records and itemized bills.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and adheres to organizational policies.
• Communicates with internal and external customers professionally.
• Assists patients with MyChart issues and password assistance.
• Participates in HIPAA and ROI training programs.
