Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Release Manager to drive end-to-end software releases across trading technology platforms. The role requires strong experience in enterprise change management, SDLC governance, release automation, and ITSM workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience with ITSM and change management tools (Remedy, ServiceNow).
• Strong SDLC knowledge, release controls and deployment governance.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for managing multiple releases.
• Analytical, risk and dependency assessment skills.
• Experience in trading technology or regulated financial services environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience producing release docs and executive reporting.
• 5+ years in release/change management roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end software release lifecycles including planning, scheduling, execution, validation and post-release activities.
• Coordinate change management activities in ITSM platforms, including creation, submission, tracking and approvals.
• Partner with development, infra, production support, information security, and controls to ensure release readiness.
• Produce release documentation, implementation plans, rollback procedures, deployment communications and status reporting.
• Identify and manage release risks, dependencies and operational impacts before implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement of SDLC processes, release controls and deployment governance.
• Develop and maintain release metrics, dashboards and reporting for quality and transparency.
• Support global delivery coordination across distributed teams.
