Job summary

PNC is seeking a Release Manager within its Lending Technology organization, with multiple in‑office locations across the US. The role drives planning, coordination, and execution of technology releases across cross‑functional teams in a production‑critical environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, risk management, and change governance experience, along with Agile/DevOps fluency and a focus on production readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in Release Management and Change Management in technology environments.
• Solid Agile and DevOps fluency supporting iterative delivery and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with risk management, production readiness, and compliance management.
• Hands-on coordination of vulnerability remediation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end release activities across multiple teams and applications.
• Identify risks to releases and develop mitigation strategies for smooth deployment.
• Lead release and change management processes with enterprise governance and controls.
• Serve as central coordination between engineering, QA, DevOps, operations, security, and business partners.
• Ensure production readiness, including deployment plans, rollback, testing, and support models.
• Identify, assess, and manage release risks, escalating issues and driving mitigation.
• Coordinate documentation, approvals, and audit readiness for compliance.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation with security and engineering teams prior to release.
• Communicate release status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
