Job summary

Wabtec Corporation seeks an Integrated Solutions Release & Configuration Engineer to lead release and configuration management for integrated Digital Intelligence solutions across multiple systems. You will define baselines, ensure traceability, and drive best practices with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, Quality, Cybersecurity, and Field Services.

You will guide release planning, audit readiness, and deployment considerations while mentoring teams and promoting automation.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have strong release and configuration management experience across multiple products.
• Experience coordinating complex releases across cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of standards like SAE EIA-649, ISO 10007, IEEE 828 or equivalents.
• Experience with lifecycle management tools and source control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead release and configuration mgmt processes across products and systems.
• Define baselines for software, requirements, interfaces, and docs.
• Maintain traceability across requirements and configurations.
• Coordinate change control and release readiness activities.
• Develop integrated release plans aligning schedules and dependencies.
• Manage release artifacts, BOMs, matrices, and deployment docs.
• Partner with engineering, quality, cybersecurity, and testing teams.
• Publish authoritative release manifests and configuration records.
• Conduct configuration status accounting and audit prep.
• Support deployment readiness and post-release validation.
• Lead root-cause analysis for release issues and drive corrective action.
• Mentor teams on CM/Release best practices and automation.
