Job summary

Electric Power Systems in North America is seeking a Relay Technician II to perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection and control systems with increasing independence. The role emphasizes safety, technical proficiency, and collaboration with Senior Technicians and Engineers.

You will develop expertise in relay protection schemes, system analysis, and advanced testing practices while supporting project execution through testing, troubleshooting, reporting, and client

Qualifications

Bachelor's or associate degree in electrical/electronic technology or equivalent
NETA II Certification preferred
Experience installing, testing or repairing protective relays in substations preferred

Responsibilities

Perform relay testing and calibration with guidance from Senior Technicians and Engineers
Conduct end-to-end testing of protection and control systems
Create detailed test reports, commissioning records, and calibration documentation
Coordinate work with engineers and project teams to ensure alignment and safety
