This mid-level role requires a strong safety focus and hands-on experience with relay systems, working withSenior Relay Technicians and Engineers on project execution.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, testing & repairing protective relays in transmission, generation or distribution level substations.
• Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, and protection logic.
• Demonstrated safety focus and willingness to travel for project needs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and participate in job briefings and hazard mitigation.
• Perform relay testing with assistance from Senior Relay Technicians and Engineers.
• Conduct end-to-end testing and validate protection system operation.
• Create detailed reports including test results, commissioning records, and calibration documentation.
• Coordinate work activities with engineers, project teams, and other technicians.
