Job summary

Electric Power Systems is seeking a Relay Technician II to perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of protection and control systems within North America. You will work closely with Senior Technicians and Engineers to support project execution, troubleshoot issues, and prepare commissioning documentation.

The role emphasizes safety, technical proficiency, and developing expertise in relay protection schemes and testing practices in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in electrical/Electronic technology or engineering is preferred.
• NETA II certification is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with protective relays in transmission, generation or distribution substations is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform relay testing with Senior Technicians and Engineers.
• Execute element, logic, and basic functional testing of protective relays and control systems.
• Create detailed reports including test results and calibration documentation.
• Read one-line and three-line diagrams and complex protection logic.
• Ensure safety and coordinate with engineers and project teams.
