Central Bank is seeking a friendly Teller to serve as the face of our branch and deliver outstanding customer service. You will handle daily transactions and help customers meet their financial needs, while maintaining accuracy and a professional demeanor.

This role requires strong cash handling, math, and communication skills, with a focus on building relationships and identifying opportunities to offer banking products.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic math skills, PC and typing skills and the ability to count U.S. currency.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong customer relations skills and ability to communicate and work well with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive manner.
• Look for cross‑sell opportunities in a customer‑centric manner.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 20 lbs.
• Must be available to work all throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently process a variety of financial transactions in a friendly and professional manner.
• Balance an assigned cash drawer daily and identify and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Actively listen to customers and always communicate positively and professionally.
• Identify customer needs and recommend bank products and services that are customer‑focused and solution‑oriented.
• Make appropriate referrals to other lines of business for both traditional and non‑traditional products and services.
• Contribute to the achievement of both individual and team goals by supporting overall branch performance and success.
• Effectively de‑escalate customer concerns or complaints by remaining calm, empathetic, and solution‑focused, while following bank policies and escalation procedures as needed.
• Perform all teller duties in compliance with established bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
