Job summary

Landus Cooperative in West Virginia is seeking a Relationship Specialist to deliver outstanding customer service to farmer owners and support a collaborative team.

You will drive agronomy and feed sales, manage grain contracts, and assist with invoicing and inventory processes while ensuring accurate CRM data and adherence to Landus policies. This role requires a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent from a two-year college, or 2–5 years related experience.
• One year of related experience.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and guide customers to meet their needs.
• Grow agronomy and feed sales with existing customers and attract new ones.
• Handle grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers.
• Serve as a resource on scale/receiving, invoicing, and grain contracts.
• Document sales calls in CRM and assist with inventory control.
• Maintain office supplies inventory.
• Prepare invoices and ensure fair pricing for products/services.
• Understand Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies.
• Verify sales invoices daily for accuracy.
• Monitor agronomy contracts and prepay for accuracy.

How will you have an impact in this role?

The Relationship specialist will provide outstanding customer service and will ensure prompt attention to our farmer owners. You will be a part of a supportive team ensuring customers get the help they need.

What will you do?

• Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention assisting or directing customers to the appropriate areas to meet their needs.
• Maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers, as applicable.
• Ability to complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
• Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
• Understand how to document and submit sales call information in CRM (Customer Relationship Management System). Assist with inventory control of products offered at the location.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Prepare accurate/timely invoices; assure equitable calculation of products/services provided.
• Working knowledge of Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies
• Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy
• Monitor agronomy sales contracts/prepay for accuracy

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds.
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of related experience.
• Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.
