First Merchants Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager III to join our team! This position involves managing relationships by growing market share, broadening revenue, retaining customers, and managing portfolios.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Implement an aggressive sales and marketing strategy to develop new and existing relationships, including identifying prospects, setting income goals, and cross-selling opportunities.
2. Provide exceptional customer service, monitor current loans and credit profiles, and ensure compliance with terms.
3. Extend credit within assigned limits, interview applicants, analyze financial data, and review collateral.
4. Support employee development, coaching, and leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of commercial banking experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree (MBA), credit analyst experience, or completion of a respected banking school.
