Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking to develop and manage commercial client relationships, delivering lending, treasury management, and cash management solutions to drive growth.

You will identify opportunities, advise on financing and capital structure, and work with internal partners to provide comprehensive banking solutions; travel to client locations is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of commercial banking, lending, equipment finance, financial analysis, or client relationship management experience.
  • Experience evaluating credit risk, underwriting loans, and analyzing financial statements.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lending products, treasury management services, and applicable banking regulations.
  • Demonstrated business development, relationship management, and consultative sales skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly to client locations.

  • Prepare client proposals and presentations and resolve service issues to maintain strong client relationships.

Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking
Summary

The Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking develops and manages commercial client relationships by delivering lending, treasury management, and cash management solutions. This role drives growth through new business development, expands existing relationships, and serves as a trusted advisor on financing and cash flow strategies to enhance client success and profitability.

Major Duties
  • Develop, manage, and expand commercial banking relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Hybrid
Salary Range
  • $78,945 - 134,235 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
