As a Relationship Manager in our Central Waikato Agri team, you’ll support farmers to start, buy, and sustainably grow their business. This role manages and grows a customer portfolio and expands ANZ’s brand within the community.

In this role, you will:

  1. Build sustainable, long-term client relationships and grow customer portfolios.
  2. Provide effective, value-added solutions while managing risks and applying financial analysis to identify insights.
  3. Collaborate with teams across the bank to support customer growth and success.
  4. Build new relationships aligned with business strategies and understand existing customer needs.
  5. Develop a network of contacts to support business sourcing, growth, and effectiveness.
Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?

To succeed, you will ideally have:

  • Experience in relationship management, business development, or portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of the Agri sector and ability to build market presence.
  • Banking/financial/accounting experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, with strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Networking skills to enhance relationships and grow portfolios.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.

Having most of these skills is enough; a growth mindset is valued at ANZ.
