Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Summary

Relationship Manager is responsible for sales and marketing efforts of PMA products and services (including the PSDLAF program) for assigned local government clients and prospects in the Eastern to Central Pennsylvania region. This position is a remote work opportunity with expectations of travel (50% or more) to meet business needs.

Essential Functions
  1. Consistently demonstrates exceptional internal and external service with clients, along with the core values: Integrity, Performance, and Commitment.
  2. Develops and maintains new relationships with clients by establishing new accounts or increasing low balance accounts, focusing on adding new accounts (Municipal and School Related) and collaborating to assist existing relationships (retention).
  3. Collaborates with team members to achieve annual goals such as new relationships and assets goals.
  4. Generates monthly meetings (in person or virtual) with potential and existing clients, working closely with the Lancaster team.
  5. Attends conferences, chapter meetings, and other meetings as assigned, which may include travel outside the territory.
  6. Promotes PMA’s products and services via phone, in person, or virtual meetings.
  7. Assists leadership in identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, partnerships, or products/services.
  8. Manages the sales pipeline effectively in Microsoft Dynamics, from lead generation to conversion, with tracking and reporting mechanisms.
  9. Invests in professional development to stay informed about industry best practices and enhance skills.
  10. Models, mentors, and leads colleagues in developing innovative methods for efficacy.
  11. Coordinates with staff to gather, analyze, and prepare reports and recommendations.
  12. Attends training at the Lancaster, PA PMA office; initial training is approximately two weeks per month during the first four to six months, then bi-monthly.
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination. Experience in the financial industry or with the public sector is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

Regulatory Licensures: SIE, Series 7, 66, and 50 or attainable within a reasonable timeframe as a condition of employment.
