Job summary

Country Bank’s Palmer Banking Center seeks a Float Banking Center Specialist to deliver exceptional customer experiences end-to-end. You will operate cash handling duties, open new accounts, process transactions, and guide customers through banking services.

Under supervision, you’ll support online banking, assist with ATM services, and promote products and promotions to meet growth and satisfaction targets. This is a full-time, on-site role in Palmer, MA.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
• Banking/finance experience and cash handling preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a Notary Public license and active NMLS registration.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to build and deepen customer relationships through active listening and tailored service.
• Open and manage new accounts, including consumer and business accounts, with proper identification.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions accurately while balancing cash box and vault.
• Support online banking setup and assist customers with ATM/Debit services and fraud resolution.
• Promote bank products and promotions to reach growth and customer satisfaction goals.
