Job summary

Truist Bank is seeking a full-time teller with a focus on accurate transaction handling and superior client service in Birmingham, AL. You'll help clients with routine and complex transactions while identifying financial needs and opportunities for additional services.

The role involves educating customers on digital banking, outbound outreach, and collaborating with branch teams to deliver integrated solutions. Weekend availability and travel for coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• 6 months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with PC keyboard and branch automation software.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar basic software.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours; some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversations and handle both complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support sales by outbound client outreach, reviewing offers, and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and activities.
• Advance product knowledge through training and meetings to better serve clients.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
