Job summary

Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach is seeking a Banking Relationship Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and sales while performing teller transactions. The role combines BRS duties with teller tasks during busy periods, including opening accounts and resolving account issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred 1 year teller experience and 1+ years New Accounts/Sales Experience.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients about financial goals and promote F&M products.
• Actively cross-sell Bank products and refer clients to other departments.
• Open new personal and business accounts and maintain accounts per policy.
• Explain procedures and prioritize work to maximize customer service and handle interruptions.
• Support marketing campaigns and product launches; quote rates and fees.
• Complete daily maintenance to client accounts and process client requests by mail.
• Research and resolve account problems and communicate with other departments.
• Perform routine teller transactions as needed and comply with security policies.
