Job summary

Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach is seeking a Banking Relationship Specialist (BRS) to deliver excellent customer service and assist with teller transactions in branch locations. The role includes opening and maintaining accounts, cross-selling, and resolving client issues in compliance with bank procedures.

The BRS will research and resolve account problems, perform routine teller functions as needed, and actively engage with clients to build lasting relationships in a fast-paced branch

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year teller experience.
At least 1+ years in new accounts/sales experience.
Strong customer service and sales skills.
Ability to adhere to bank policies and procedures.
Basic mathematics and numerical literacy.

Responsibilities

Consult with clients about financial goals and promote F&M products and services that meet those needs.
Actively cross-sell Bank products and refer clients to other departments.
Address and resolve client concerns to maintain relationships.
Open new personal and business accounts or perform maintenance per policies.
Explain procedures and prioritize work to maximise service and handle interruptions.
