Job summary

Truist Wealth is seeking a Retail Banking Associate to provide a distinctive client experience by handling transactions, educating clients on digital banking, and uncovering needs. You will engage in outbound outreach, support sales processes, and collaborate with branch teams to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling and courteous conversation.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by participating in client outreach and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge and serve consumer and business clients.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies; stay informed of policy changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution, handling branch demand.
