Job summary

American Bank & Trust - South Dakota is seeking a professional to interact with customers, identify their banking needs, and develop solutions to satisfy them. You will be responsible for opening and closing deposit accounts, processing loans, and mentoring retail staff.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of banking or lending experience and strong communication skills. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. A customer service focus is essential, as well as the ability to multitask under stress.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of banking, lending and/or retail cashier experience.
• Proven track record of managing larger lending authority.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to identify their needs.
• Develop products needed for customers or cross-sell to appropriate areas.
• Open and close deposit accounts including checking and savings.
• Interview consumer loan applicants and process loan files.
• Responsible for IRA distributions and sales.
• Establish and coordinate business events and campaigns.
