Job summary

Western State Bank in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Personal Banker to deliver outstanding customer service and support in-bank transactions. You will assess customer needs and either fulfill them or refer to the appropriate department, while ensuring compliance and deposit account servicing.

You will open and service deposit accounts, handle teller transactions, and help build lasting relationships with customers across our locations, including occasional travel to Sun City West.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred; 1-2 years banking/customer service experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to refer customers to other bank departments.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions in person or via phone/email/online.
• Refer customers to other departments to cross-sell solutions.
• Open and service deposits accounts in compliance with banking regulations.
• Maintain positive relationships across bank locations.
