Job summary

Truist Financial is seeking a customer-focused associate to provide timely and accurate handling of client transactions while maintaining records and ensuring excellent service. The role supports outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities to deliver Truist expertise.

The position emphasizes cross-training for sales support and a strong emphasis on compliance with policies and procedures. Regular/full-time schedule with shift requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversations and handling complex transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self‑service solutions including ATMs and Online/Mobile banking to enhance service experience.
• Support team sales by outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities for referrals.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training and meetings to advance product knowledge and service delivery.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies for compliance.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
