Job summary

NBT Bank in New York seeks a Relationship Banking Associate to deliver high-quality customer service and respond quickly to customer needs. You will process routine transactions, maintain records, and refer sales opportunities to the right business partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year in banking, sales, or customer service.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and opportunities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• 65% Processes routine transactions and related customer/account servicing with accuracy, including teller tasks and daily vault balancing.
• 25% Identifies customer opportunities via consultative conversations and refers to appropriate partners; handles issues with responsiveness.
• 5% Participates in community events supporting CRA; 5% performs other duties as assigned.
