Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year demonstrated experience working with clients (volunteering, education, military experience count).
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client-facing/financial institution preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire.
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with conciseness and clarity.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for clients, guiding traffic flow and delivering a high-touch client experience.
• Process accurate, everyday banking transactions and deepen relationships by identifying client needs.
• Educate clients on banking products and self-serve solutions while recommending suitable options.
• Perform a broad range of client transactions within financial limits and escalate non-standard issues as needed.
• Maintain compliance with policies, AML laws, and regulatory requirements.
