Job summary

TD is hiring in Charleston, SC for a customer-facing banking role focused on everyday banking and consumer product support. You will engage clients with accuracy and clarity, guiding needs-based conversations and referring to specialists as needed.

As part of TD's hospitality-driven service, you’ll manage client flow, open basic accounts, and deepen relationships while complying with risk and regulatory standards. The position emphasizes community banking and personal service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years demonstrated experience working with clients.
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client facing/financial institution preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the overall client experience by effectively managing client flow (in-person and phone).
• Serves as a hospitality ambassador for the financial center, delivering consistent, relationship-driven client experiences.
• Creates personalized, client-first interactions that build trust from initial engagement.
• Proactively educates clients on banking products, services, and digital capabilities to enhance convenience and financial well-being.
• Engages clients through proactive outreach, including scheduling appointments for consumer account needs.
• Balances client needs with policy adherence and risk awareness to ensure compliant outcomes.
• Advocates for clients with empathy, integrity, and a long-term perspective.
