Job summary

TD Bank is seeking a customer service oriented Teller in Travelers Rest, SC. The role focuses on delivering everyday banking, opening/maintaining consumer accounts, and guiding clients to appropriate TD partners to meet financial goals.

You will be the first point of contact, providing accurate transactions, security, and friendly service while supporting a high-touch client experience in a fast-paced branch environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years demonstrated experience working with clients (volunteering, education, military experience acceptable)
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client facing/financial institution preferred
• Ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Notary License preferred

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the overall client experience by effectively managing client flow (in-person and phone) and referrals
• Serves as a hospitality ambassador for the financial center and delivers relationship-driven experiences
• Creates personalized, client-first interactions to build trust
• Educates clients on banking products and digital capabilities to enhance convenience and financial well-being
• Engages clients through proactive outreach and appointment scheduling
• Balances client needs with policy adherence and risk awareness
• Advocates for clients with empathy and integrity
