Job summary

Truist Financial in Knoxville, TN is seeking a client-focused professional to build and manage relationships both in person and by phone, providing financial solutions through consultative conversations and referrals to internal partners for growth opportunities. Will be cross trained to perform teller duties as needed.

You will participate in deposits, lending options, and cross-selling while maintaining a high level of service and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi‑task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by offering products and services.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex client needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Ensures compliance with internal controls and risk management policies.
• Maintains a consistent client service experience by engaging clients during transactions.
