Job summary

Truist seeks a customer-focused professional in retail banking to grow client relationships through consultative conversations and referrals. You will handle teller duties as needed while offering a full range of financial solutions.

Responsibilities include meeting service and sales targets, advising on lending options, and collaborating with internal specialists to address client goals. The role requires flexibility for weekend/extended hours and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment and meet regulatory requirements.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints and travel as needed.
• Weekend and extended hours availability with possible overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry leading client service in person and over the phone.
• Develop and expand client relationships with financial solutions.
• Cross-train to perform teller duties as needed.
• Contribute to meeting client service and sales targets by offering products.
• Refer complex needs to internal specialists and support team sales process.
• Attend leadership routines and ongoing sales training for product knowledge.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies; stay updated on procedures.
