Job summary

Wings Credit Union in Minnesota is seeking a member service professional to open and manage accounts, educate members on products, and cross-sell services to help them achieve financial well-being. This is a role with notarial duties and Mortgage Loan Originator qualifications may apply.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8:45am–5:15pm, every other Saturday 8:45am–1:15pm. The position requires strong sales skills, excellent service, and compliance with credit union policies while supporting community

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• 1 year of member service or retail banking experience.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of banking regulations preferred.
• Experience recommending products to improve a member’s financial position.
• Notary license required upon hire; Mortgage Loan Origination (MLO) qualifier may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and opening accounts.
• Educate members on product features and cross-sell loan, deposit, and fee income products.
• Build lasting relationships through engagement, questions, and a consultative approach.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with follow-ups for engagement needs.
• Refer members to financial experts (e.g., mortgage advisors).
• Resolve moderately complex issues by coordinating with other departments; ensure compliance.
