Job description

Position Overview

The position involves providing an industry-leading client service experience both in person and on the phone, developing and expanding client relationships, and offering financial solutions based on consultative conversations. The role includes supporting teller transactions as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Exercise proficiency with client maintenance requests, problem resolution, and sales functions related to deposit, credit, and other product lines.
  2. Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering products and services to develop, expand, and retain relationships.
  3. Support the sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex client needs to specialists.
  4. Participate in all components of the established Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  5. Advance personal knowledge of sales techniques and products through training and meetings.
  6. Advise on consumer lending options and process loan applications.
  7. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies.
  8. Ensure a consistent client service experience with courteous interactions and transaction handling, including teller transactions and client navigation assistance.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of client sales and service experience
  • Experience in sourcing, prospecting, and relationship building
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications
  • Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to multi-task and work flexible hours, including weekends and travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet sales goals
  • Strong communication skills and understanding of bank operations
