MVSB's Ashland, NH branch is seeking a Customer Service Banker (Universal Banker) to assist customers with everyday banking needs, promote products, and build trusted relationships. This full-time role includes rotating Saturdays and travel between branches as needed; starting pay is $21.63 per hour, negotiable with experience; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum one year experience in customer service and/or cash handling role
• Experience utilizing software applications to perform customer service duties
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Must be able to work rotating Saturdays
• Ability to travel between branch locations as needed

Responsibilities

• Maintain a working knowledge of banking products and services while promoting them to the customer
• Demonstrate an openness and willingness to switch between the teller and customer service positions as the needs arise
• Complete individual and business account deposit/withdrawal transactions, account opening and maintenance activities including checking, savings and time deposits
• Provide a professional customer service experience while obtaining new business opportunity referrals through needs based inquiry
• Responds to questions and resolve problems or concerns for customers effectively and efficiently
